Water
Many businesses are under the impression that there are no savings to be made on their water, wastewater & effluent charges. However, our water division regularly achieves significant savings for clients worldwide, and in some cases in excess of 30% of their total expenditure.
The water industry is slowly following the energy markets in terms of increased competition, however although currently being pioneered in Scotland, opportunities to switch supplier remain extremely limited throughout the rest of the UK & beyond.
Whilst eagerly awaiting other water sectors to follow Scotland's lead M&C Energy Group operate within the existing frameworks to achieve savings on behalf of our clients, and rather than viewing current market conditions as a constraint we are adept at exploiting opportunities in relation to all aspects of our clients' services and charges.
Fast Refunds
M&C Energy Group has designed and developed its own suite of sophisticated and powerful IT systems to enable our analysts to conduct a retrospective analysis and cost auditing exercise. This identifies discrepancies quickly and allows us to pursue refund opportunities without delay.
Desktop Analysis
Our analysts are familiar with charges and policy in all supplier regions, and by scrutinising client charging arrangements are able to determine whether any alternative tariff options and allowances are available. In addition, analysis of consumption patterns allows us to establish a clear picture of water demand requirements, details of which are passed to our engineers for further investigation.
Site Surveys
Where appropriate full on-site surveys are undertaken by our engineers in order to validate any charging anomalies identified during our desktop audit. In addition, the surveys are used to clarify supply and drainage arrangements, enabling us to evaluate the scope for opportunities in relation to water conservation, alternative water sources, and wastewater treatment.
Reportage & Implementation
The results of our desktop and on-site investigations are detailed in a comprehensive report. This is delivered and explained to the client in person by one of our analysts and/or engineers, following on from which M&C Energy Group take on full responsibility for the implementations of the financial opportunities identified.
