M&C were asked to comment on BBC Radio 4's Today programme this morning (Thursday 19 January).
The discussionn was about North Sea oil production and investment. The industry is complaining about Chancellor Osborne's tax hike in last year's budget and are claiming drilling activity fell last year as a result.
M&C Energy analyst David Hunter pointed out, however, that investment is at record levels and the medium term outlook for the UK continental shelf hasn't looked as bullish for some time.
